Camarillo Farmers Market
Saturdays from 8:00am - 12noon
The Camarillo Farmers Market is a California Certified Farmers Markets (CFM). That means that each farmer at this market has been approved by the County Agricultural Commissioner, who has inspected their farm and certified that they grow what they sell. Only CFM farmers are allowed to sell their crops to the public at the Camarillo Farmers Market. Also all food vendors here have been certified by the Ventura County Environmental Health Department.
This is one of the smaller markets in Ventura County, and it runs at the same time as the Downtown Ventura Market. You'll find a variety of local farmers, most notably Underwood Family Farms. There are also a few vendors with sausage, soap, plants and more although not as much variety at the larger markets. If you have the time it's probably worth the drive to Ventura but if you live nearby and just need to grab a few essentials this market will more than provide.
